Why we built Testera

Testera started with our founder preparing for an exam and learning a new language at the same time. As a visual learner, what worked was flashcards, pictures and practice that kept coming back, so we built that.

We built Testera so that practice answers back. A learner speaks or writes, and gets a reply, a correction and an explanation in return, not a mark on its own.

The same approach runs across languages, English for study and work, and everyday digital skills, so one place covers the conversation, the practice and the feedback.

Testera is built in Dublin by Aqta Technologies Limited, a company registered in Ireland.
