1. About Testera

Testera is AI practice for exams and languages, run by Aqta Technologies Limited (“we”), a company registered in Ireland (CRO 807530). We provide voice tutors for spoken language practice, a Digital Skills Lab, and adaptive GMAT-style, GRE-style and IELTS-style practice, including adaptive questions, focus tracking, score predictions and Tera, our AI study coach.

Tera is Testera’s AI study coach: she answers questions, suggests study plans, can speak her replies and can read an image you send. Language Lab is a spoken conversation with an AI tutor, followed by corrections and a CEFR estimate. Both adapt to your performance, and both are study aids: they do not guarantee scores and are not a substitute for a teacher, an examiner or professional advice. The voices of Tera, the Language Lab tutors and the IELTS examiner are generated by AI, and a CEFR estimate is not an official assessment.

Score predictions are estimates based on practice performance, not guarantees of actual exam results.

2. Practice content & responsible AI

All practice questions and explanations on Testera are AI-generated original content, they are not reproductions of official exam items.

• No proprietary or licensed exam questions are fed into Testera's AI
• Questions are clearly presented as AI-generated practice material, not official exam items
• Testera does not imply endorsement by ETS, GMAC or any other exam body
• Signed-in learners can report any question as incorrect or low-quality, and we read the reports
• Testera is for practice only, not official scoring or academic advice

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or in any way connected to GMAC, ETS or any official exam body.

3. Your responsibilities

• You must be at least 13 to have a Testera account.
• If you are 13 to 17, a parent or guardian must agree to your use of Testera, and you confirm that when you create your account.
• Keep your sign-in secure and do not share your account.
• Use Testera lawfully.
• Do not try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer Testera, or get around its limits.

4. Payments

Testera Patron is a one-time payment of €59.99 (or the price shown at checkout in another currency) that gives you Pro for 365 days.

• It does not renew. When it ends you return to the free plan, and you can buy Patron again at any time.
• Payments are handled by Revolut. We never see or store your card details.
• Pro has daily limits on AI and voice features, set to keep the service fair for everyone.
• Patron payments are purchases of Pro access. They are commercial transactions, not charitable donations, and are not tax-deductible.
• If you are not satisfied, email hello@aqta.ai within 14 days of paying for a full refund. When a payment is refunded, Pro ends.
• Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer under Irish law.

4a. Invite a friend

Signed-in learners have an invite link. When a friend creates a new account with your link and answers 10 exam-practice questions within 14 days of signing up, you receive 30 extra Tera messages.

• Both accounts need a confirmed email address, and neither may use a disposable email domain.
• You can earn up to 10 rewards in a calendar month, and hold up to 300 extra messages at a time.
• Extra messages are used on the free plan, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
• A reward may be delayed or withheld while either account is under a limit for misuse, for example inviting yourself.

5. Disclaimers

• We do not guarantee exam scores or admission outcomes
• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors
• We apply per-session limits and may serve cached questions to maintain performance
• We work to keep Testera available but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors
• Testera is a supplementary study aid, not a sole preparation method

6. Changes to terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to Testera or to the law. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dublin, Ireland.

Testera is operated by Aqta Technologies Limited, registered in Ireland.
